The Steam Car Club of Great Britain
The World's Premier Steam Car Preservation Organisation.

In the interest of Steam Car preservation, the National Traction Engine Trust and The Steam Car Club of Great Britain will strengthen their ties by recognising each clubs specialities in the field of traction engines and steam cars to further the general principles and aims that both organisations share.

The objectives of The Steam Car Club of Great Britain are, apart from catering for all those interested in Steam Cars, to provide assitance promoting responsible preservation, restoration and conservation of all steam cars, including those of both historic and educational value.

Members of The Steam Car Club of Great Britain aim to take part in not only their own activities, but to integrate with the NTET's Steam Apprentice Club and Approved Rallies and Events, allowing their interest in Steam Cars to spread amongst all steam related groups. The NTET Steam Apprentice Club will also gain by having a direct link for any younger members specifically showing an interest in cars.

Another important activity of The Steam Car Club of Great Britain is the historic archive built up over many years, pattern register and technical support for all cars in preservation.    Like the NTET, The Steam Car Club of Great Britain will share the objective of 'Preserving our heritage with steam on the road'.

The Steam Car Club of Great Britain caters for owners of steam cars and steam cycles old and new. You do not have to own a steam car or cycle. Perhaps you want one, or are just interested in these vehicles or in their further development.
